A powerful original Australian rock opera originally inspired by the Black Summer bushfires, debuting to a standing ovation at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre. Now, “Watch and Act” includes the stories of Australians battling storms and floods, in a theatrical tour de force of music, sketches, satire and song.

Created by ABC broadcaster Nick Rheinberger from his many emergency broadcasts, "Watch and Act" captures the real voices of regional communities impacted by bushfire, floods and storms. Backed by the same brilliant cast of musicians from “Gladys”, the result is a raw, deeply Australian piece of musical theatre: honest and raw while still finding moments of hope, humour and humanity.
